If you're not looking to party this Saturday nite, check out this event. I loved Mystery Science Theater 3000 and the Onion. So I thought I'd post this for my own nostalgic sake. Just go.
Found Footage Festival

For 15 years, a pair of ex-Onion writers have scoured garage sales, flea markets etc, to amass a trove of home movies, celeb workout tapes, and sexual harassment training videos, which they now show live while giving it the old MST3K treatment. The show's further spiced up with comedy sketches based on the film clips, and a free-flowing keg of beer -- inspiring the Onion headline, "Dude Comes Only for Beer".
